MY NEW JEWELRY BRAND!
Hey guys, I've been super busy this summer with medical issues and stuff that I've been tucked away doing artsy stuffs and completely neglecting this blog. Sorry! However, I thought I'd quickly post about my own jewelry brand I just began.
It's called Contradictions. So far I have two pieces up for sale, but only in a local consignment shop. If there seems to be a lot of interest I'll start an etsy account and really start cranking them out ;)

After finding my charger, I decided that the weather was so nice I had to dress up in my style again. I'm so tired of jeans and t-shirts.

Long Summer Days
With my camera dead and the charger nowhere to be found, I thought I might post some of my favorite summer styles for you guys. And, in Designerless fashion, the first outfit will be designer and the second will be the "designerless" version. Today's style is long maxi skirts:

Thoughts....
Life has been hectic.
You've probably heard this story many times before but it doesn't make it any less true. From school, to work, to church, to friends, to boyfriend, to family, to medical issues--stress has woven itself throughout my daily life. I've been so caught up in the fast-paced mess, I've neglected my own interests. So many times, it's been easier to watch TV and just zonk out instead of taking the free time to have fun with my blog. Although doing something as mind-numbing as watching TV can be stress relieving, blogging is a different form that actually keeps your brain in gear. It's a distraction-per say-from the craziness around you. But, at the same time, it's more than that. It's an art form that gives a little piece of you to the world. It allows you to express who you are outside of your own closed-off social circle. It allows you to explore your own interests and the interests of others--share your ideas and discover new ideas from others---put yourself out in the world and encourage others that do the same.
Long story short, the next time I want to relieve some stress, I'll share my thoughts with you guys instead---whether on fashion or life.

Hello Blog World / Designerless Friday: Prom Edition
Hello Blog World!
I think I'm finally resurrecting the Designerless blog and Designerless Fridays. Sorry I'm such a flaky blogger, but, now that the weather is getting better and my camera is ready to go, I'm going to start catching up. If you haven't noticed, I'm slowly updating all the "My Closet" posts and then I will go back the March posts that I didn't edit. So this blog will be improving.
On that note, I did recently hurt my foot and am on crutches so I've been in jeans and t-shirts and thus probably no outfit posts for a while. However I will be updating the blog with the "My Closet" Posts and trying to catch up :)
